Open Access Policy

The Bulletin of the Turkic Academy promotes open access to scholarly research in Turkic studies. As such, the journal adopts an Open Access Policy to ensure that research articles are freely available to the global academic community, thereby maximizing the visibility and impact of the published work. All articles are freely available immediately upon publication.

 

Licensing terms

Articles published in the Bulletin of the Turkic Academy are licensed under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-No Derivatives 4.0 International) license, which permits non-commercial use only. Under this license, users can copy and distribute the copyrighted material but cannot modify or use it commercially. User rights

Users are allowed to utilize an article for free on the condition that they provide proper attribution to the author and source and solely for non-commercial purposes. Author rights

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) that allows others to read, download, copy, and distribute the work, provided they acknowledge the work’s authorship and its initial publication in this journal.

 

The authors retain the right to enter into contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of their work (e.g., posting it in an institutional repository or including it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its original publication in this journal.

 

Archiving

The journal has been published in electronic format since 2024. All electronic issues are stored on the webpage dedicated to the journal.

 

To ensure long-term accessibility and preservation of published content, all articles are archived in compliance with international standards to guarantee their availability for future generations of scholars and researchers.
